SPONSORS
All members of the DXpedition team are paying their own costs for transport from their home to Spratly, and for accommodation and food and drink while on the island.
However, there are a few additional costs involved in mounting such a DXpedition, including excess baggage charges on flights so as to enable us to take all the equipment we need and, since we plan to operate around-the-clock, the cost of hiring an additional room at the resort to house the stations. There will be other small incidental costs such as the local purchase of materials for the stations and antennas.
Unlike some DXpeditions, we’re not asking for thousands of dollars to make it happen. But we would be grateful to receive donations from those DXers who wish to help in order to cover the incidental costs described above. To make it easy, you may contribute to QSL Manager Tim Beaumont’s, M3SDE, PayPal account by clicking on the button above. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you may send sterling, US dollars, IRCs or a UK (sterling) bank cheque direct to Tim.
All contributions, however small, will be acknowledged on this website. Please indicate clearly that your contribution is for “Spratly 2009”.
Thank you in anticipation.
